All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/lancaster/ _______________________________________________ Cocalico township, Lancaster Co., PA Written: January 13, 1792 Recorded: May 1, 1792 Peter Zeller to Jacob Weidman Exor of Jacob Mainzer Deced. } KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS WHEREAS Conrad Mainzer late of Cocalicoe Township in the County of Lancaster and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Yeoman deceased in and by his last Will and Testament in Writing duly proved and Remaining in the Registers Office at Lancaster for the County of Lancaster among other things therein mentioned did declare as follows vis: “I Order then when my Son John is of Age all my lands shall be valued by four free holders indifferently chosen by my wife and Heirs and the Interest of one third part of the Valuation Money shall be paid from thenceforth to my wife during the Term of her natural life according to Law and each of my Heirs inheriting said my lands shall pay his proportionable share in said Interest for which each must give security if Demanded and the said Testator did further allow and will unto his said wife besides the aforesd one third of such valuation money divers other good and property declaring the same in full satisfaction of her Dowry” AND the said Testator did further Will and Ordain as follows “I order that all my Lands be divided in Six Lots &ca. and ordained the payments and the appropriation of them to and amongst his several Children and Heirs as by reference to the same Will it will more fully appear. AND the said Testator by his last Will aforesaid did further ordain as follows “and my Executor hereinafter named shall make goods Deeds to each Share of said my lands to my respective Heirs PROVIDED each of my Heirs shall at the Receipt of his Deed give sufficient security for his Share to be paid towards the Dower of my wife” AND WHEREAS Peter Zeller having intermarried with the Widow of the sd Conrad Mainzer deceased did therefore by their Release bearing even date herewith with Elizabeth his wife (late Elizabeth Mainzer) grant bargain and sell all to Matthias Drukenbrode and to his Heirs and Assigns forever ALL THAT proportionable part of the Dowry or yearly Interest issuing out of that Share of Land which the said Matthias Drukenbrod now holds being a part of the said Real Estate of the said Conrad Mainzer deced, and also did by another Release dated the twenty fourth day of January grant bargain and sell unto John Mainzer of Cocalico Township aforesd and to his Heirs and Assigns forever ALL THAT proportionable part of the Dowry or yearly Intrest issuing out of that share of land which the said John Mainzer now holds being another part of the Real Estate late of the said Conrad Mainzer deceased all which by the said in part recited Conveyances on Record or to be Recorded Reference thereunto may be had will more fully appear. NOW KNOW YE THAT WE the said Peter Zeller and Elizabeth his wife in Consideration of the Premises aforesd and for the better more sure and certain granting and conveying the aforesaid two shares parts and parcels of the lands in fee simple Estate, and Clear of all Incumbrances and for the better Securing the Executor of the said Conrad Mainzer in the granting and conveying the said two Shares Parts and Parcels of Land unto the said Matthias Drukenbrod and John Mainzer and their Heirs and Assigns in fee, we the said Peter Zeller and Elizabeth his wife four ourselves our several and respective Heirs Executors and Admors do hereby fully absolutly and effectually exonerate acquit and discharge the said Executor Jacob Weidman of all and singular our Power Right Title Intrest Claim and Demand which we ever had now or hereafter for or on account of the yearly Dowry or Intrest issuing out of the said two shares or for or on account of conveying the said two shares by the said Executor clear and free as aforesd hereby disclaiming and relinquishing all future claim challenge or demand thereto or to any part thereof either from the said Executor or the said Matthias Drukenbrod or John Mainzer or any or either of them their Heirs Executors Admors or assigns to all Intents and Purposes whatsoever hereby declaring ourselves forever satisfied as to the sd two shares parts and parcels of land aforesd all according to the true Intents and meaning of these presents IN WITNESS WHEREOF we have hereunto puto our hands and seals this thirteenth day of January Anno Domini 1792 Peter Zeller (SEAL) Elizabeth Her X Mark Zeller (SEAL) WITNESS Present at Signing: John Lutz, Fk.
