His Captain Watson died and Captain Thomas Moore took command of the company, under whom he served until discharged.” “That he served 6 years, having enlisted twice for the term of 3 years. At the expiration of his 6 years enlistment, he was honorably discharged at Trenton, by his colonel, Thomas Craig. He shortly after lost his discharge in Lancaster. That he was at the battles of Germantown, Monmouth, Brandywine (where he received a severe wound in the head) and at Princeton…” On this 8th day of May, 1818.
