Lancaster Daily Intelligencer.  (Lancaster, Pa.) November 15, 1881
On Saturday evening Andrew Mummert drove a mule, hitched to a spring wagon, to town.
The animal frightened and upset the wagon, breaking the harness and throwing Mr.
Mummert out, but not injuring him. This runaway caused two horses hitched to a coal
wagon to run away. They did no damage except to break off a shade tree.
