At the present writing, Revivals are still in progress at Bridgeville. Nineteen conversions to the present. On Sunday morning Feb. 12th there will be reception of members at the Bridgeville U. E. Church. Mr. Leo Brubaker of Phila., spent Sunday at home. Mr. Warren Whitaker is working in Philadelphia. Messrs. Jacob and Barton Stauffer were here on Sunday visiting. Miss Mae Everhardt of Wagontown visited her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Dicely, over Sunday. Miss Elsie Weaver entertained the following on Saturday for supper: Misses Margaret, Anna M., Anna L., Susan and Edna Staufer, Bertha Rutter, Clarissa Numbers, and Frances Showalter. On Sunday at 10 A.M. (Feb. 19th) in the Bridgeville church, Mr. Warren Whitaker will give a talk on his trip around the world, from the time he left here two years ago, till he returned last Autumn, including his trip to the Holy Land. NEWSY ITEMS Items of Interest Gathered from Terre Hill and Vicinity During the Week. Tuesday is St. Valentine day. Isaac Musser had a telephone placed in his new residence recently. Prof. H. S. Whithers moved last Saturday to the house of Mrs. Mary Davis. One may retail apples but it is impossible to retail a dog. On Monday, Lincoln's birthday, our bank will be closed. J. W. Cauller is confined to the house suffering with lumbago. Mr. Fred Grouse of near Churchtown was here over Sunday, the guest of Ulysses Detterline and family. The revival services in the Evangelical church which are being conducted nightly are largely attended and intensly interesting. Miss Vesta Weaver of Schuylkill Seminary, Reading, spent Sunday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Weaver. Last Sunday morning, three persons were received into church fellowship, in the T. U. E. Church. Two persons were also baptized. The following persons are on the sick list: Sol. Lessley, Harry Glasser, Willis Stover and Misses Bertha Fernsler and Clara Ammon. Mr. E. W. Getz was elected of the New Holland P. O. S. of A. Band and they meet every Wednesday and Friday evenings. We bespeak him success at the head of this musical organization. At a sale of stocks and bonds by J. B. Long & Co., at Lancaster, on Monday, S. F. Foltz of this boro, bought five shares of Terre Hill National Bank stock at $112 per share. According to this sale the price of stock of our bank is increasing. The bank is in a flourishing condition. On Saturday evening, the base ball club will open a grand fair in the Band Hall. The Churchtown Band will be present to furnish the music for the opening night. On Saturday evening, Feb. 18th, the New Holland Mandolin Club, will furnish the music. The club needs your support and would like to see a large attendance. The different lodges of the borough appointed committees to meet as one general committee to make arrangements for the celebration and it was decided to have it again this year. There are many weeks until Memorial Day, but to make it a success it takes time and labor. It is expected that this year's demonstration will surpass former occasions.
