Mrs. Gertrude Adams, fifty-seven, widow of Benjamin M. Adams, died at 8:45 p.m. 
Sunday at her home, 636 E. Walnut st.  She had been in ill health for the past 
nine months.

She was the daughter of the late John and Matilda Imhoff Christ and was a 
member of the Bethany M. E. Church.

She is survived by the following children: Louella, wife of Curvin Hengst; 
Irene, Floyd, Ervin, Ada, wife of Edward Patton; Ella, wife of Clarence 
Mentzer; Anna, wife of Harry Fussenegger; Clarence and Paul, all of Lancaster; 
three sisters, Mrs Jacob Kling, Lititz, Mrs. Samuel Cunningham, Conestoga, Mrs. 
Chester Ruth, Lititz; and fourteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the home Wednesday at 10 a.m. (DT).  
Interment will be in the Brownstown cemetery.  Friends may call at the home 
Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. (DT).
