Clara, daughter of Mrs. Adeline and the late Levi J. Ammon, of this boro, died last Thursday evening at 9:30 o'clock, of tuberculosis, after suffering for some time. Her age was 17 years, 8 months and 28 days. She was a member of the Trinity United Evangelical Church of this boro, and was also a member of the Sunday School of the above named church. She is survived by her mother and one sister, Bertha, wife of John Farrer, of Blue Ball. The funeral was held on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the house. Services in the T. U. E. Church and interment in the Terre Hill cemetery. Rev. G. A. Maurey officiated, assisted by Rev. J. Willet Boyer. The funeral was very largely attended. H. E. Reeser was the funeral director. The floral tributes were beautiful and were as follows: A basket of roses from New Holland silk mill, where she was employed; roses from mother; carnations from sister; roses from her friend Samuel Myers; sweet peas from Mrs. Mary Ruth Ammon; carnations from Sunday School class; sweet peas from Lydia E. Hagey; roses from Bessie Brubaker. Also a bouquet of carnations and daisies, without names. Terre Hill Times, June 16, 1911
