Barr, wife of Harry C. Barr, died at 6 o’clock this morning at the home of Mrs. Kate Booth, on the Oregon Pike near this city, after an illness of many months from stomach trouble. She was in her 60th year, was born Dec. 11, 1857 in this city, her parents were the late Harry and Mary Pretzmand Adams. She was a resident of this city almost her entire life. Mrs. Barr was a member of Grace Lutheran church. She is survived by her husband and one son, Ross C. Barr, of this city. Three sisters and a brother also survive, Mrs. Lillian Gunyon and Mrs. Katie Booth of Manheim township, Mrs. Flora Fasig(?), Mt. Carmel, Pa., and Frank and Jacob Adams, both of this city. The funeral will be held from Groff’s undertaking parlors on Wednesday afternoon at 2:15 o’clock with interment in the Mennonite cemetery at Millersville.
