CHRISTIAN L. BRACKBILL

Christian L. Brackbill died at 4:00 o'clock yesterday afternoon in this city of 
complication of diseases, aged 82 years.  He was born August 30, 1841, near 
Strasburg.  His parents were the late John and Barbara Landis Brackbill.  For 
many years he was engaged in farming in the vicinity of Brunnerville and later 
was employed by farmers north of Lancaster.  He was married in early life, his 
wife and two sons are deceased.  Mr. Brackbill is the last of his family.  The 
body may be viewed at Groff's Undertaking Parlors Wednesday evening between 7:00 
and 8:30 o'clock and burial will be made in the Landis valley Mennonite cemetery 
at 11:00 o'clock Thursday morning.
