Death was caused by a complication of diseases after a sickness of only a short duration. He was 51 years old. Mr. Clark was a butcher by trade and was for a time employed by John Heller. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen, of this city, and of the American Mechanics, at Mountville. He leaves his wife, and the following children: Mrs. John Frank, Lancaster; Elizabeth, Alice, Catherine and John, all at home. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Philip Clark, Columbia; James Clark, Reading; George Clark, Harrisburg; Mrs. Samuel Thompson, Lancaster, and Mrs. Mary Selle, Erie. Funeral services will be held in the Concordia Lutheran church, Chestnut Hill, Thursday. Lancaster Intelligencer, February 5, 1917
