Born in Safe Harbor, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary L. Wise Cramer. He had resided at Willow Street R1 for the past five years, previous to which time, he had lived in Marticville and vicinity. Before his illness, he was employed by Armstrong Cork Co. He was a member of Colemanville Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mabel Burkhart Cramer, at home, three daughters, Mary I. wife of Fred B. Rheinhart of New Providence R1; Pearl E., wife of Christian Wolff, Jr., of Quarryville R2; and Miriam A, at home and three sons, C. Richard; John I; and Robert C., all at home. A sister, Elsie, wife of Edward L. Hess of Holtwood R2; three grandchildren and number of neices and nephew also survive.
