Daniel Cramer, ninety-two, last surviving member of Co. K, seventy-ninth regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, died Tuesday night at the home of his son, Daniel Cramer, Martic township, of age infirmities after a long illness. He served four years in the Civil War and was with Sherman on his famous March to the Sea. He was a member of the Knights of the Mystic Chain, of Mount Nebo; the Knights of Pythias, Rawlinsville, and served as a supervisor in Martin township for several years. These children survive: John, Drumore township; Joseph and Daniel, Martic township; and Mrs. Martha N. Herr, Ross and Mrs. Dora Leech, Lancaster; and Lawrence, Martic; also nineteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, E.S.T., at the Log church near Rawlinsville, and interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
