John Dorwart, one of Lancaster's well known citizens, died at his residence, No. 443 North Prince street, at noon to-day. He was attacked with the grip a few weeks ago and that was the cause of death. He was seventy-two years old and a native of this city. He was a plasterer by trade and carried on business for many years but has lived retired for the past ten years. He was a member of Grace Lutheran church. His wife and these children survive: John, George and Harry, of this city; William and James, of Harrisburg, and the wife of Rev. J. A. Wickert, of Denver, this county.
