Coatesville Record, April 28, 1964

Samuel Doutrich, 85, husband of the late Mamie Devlin Doutrich, died early 
Tuesday morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. And Mrs. Clair 
Sheaffer, Gap.  Born at Williamstown, PA a son of the late Byron and Kathryn 
Hess Doutrich, he had resided n Parkesburg since 1902 before moving to Gap to 
live with his daughter.  He was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad but had 
been retired for a number of years.  Surviving are four children, Samuel 
Doutrich, Cuyahood Falls, Ohio; Mrs. Viola Leachey, Valley Stream, NY; Mrs. Eva 
Sheaffer, Gap; and Mrs. Dorothy Yost, Coatesville.  Also surviving are four 
grandchildren, one sister and one brother, Mrs. Margaret Weaver and Isaac 
Doutrich, both of Lancaster.

DOUTRICH- In Gap, Pa on Tuesday, April 28, 1964, Samuel Doutrich, formerly of 
Parkesburg, Pa, husband of the late Mamie Devlin Doutrich, in his 86th year.  
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Wilde Funeral 
Home, 434 Main St, Parkesburg, on Friday, May 1, at 10:3am.  Interment at Upper 
Octorara Cemetery.  Friends my call at the funeral home Thursday evening at 7 
o’clock.
