A Young Man Expires at the St. Charles Hotel this Morning. Edward Drabenstadt, an estimable young man, died this morning at ten minutes of eight o'clock at Aaron Snyder's St. Charles Hotel, on East Chestnut street. Young Drabenstadt was a victim of "la grippe." On Saturday morning he was taken ill and had all the symptoms of the Russian malady. He was able to be about, however, and was not ill enough to take to his bed. At Sunday noon he was in the hotel and smoked a cigar. About two o'clock he suddenly became seriously ill. Then he was taken with delirium and it required the united efforts of three men to hold him in bed. He afterward became unconscious and he sank rapidly and died this morning. Deceased was a strong, healthy young man, between twenty-one and twenty-two years of age. His parents reside at Mount Joy. He was a moulder by trade and was employed at the Champion Blower and Forge Company. About six months ago he came to Lancaster. The body was sent to Mt. Joy this morning.
