SOPHIE DUNCAN Mrs. Sophie Duncan, wife of Amos Duncan, died at 5:30 o’clock Saturday morning at her home at Hollinger, after an illness of one year. She was in her sixty- ninth year and was a member of the Mennonite church. Besides her husband, eleven children survive, as follows: Mrs. Mary E. Kendig, of Lancaster; Mrs. Milton Herman, Mrs. Wallace Kling, Mrs. Phares Rhodes, Mrs. John Rhodes, Mrs. Howard Cunningham, Tobias and John, all of Hollinger; Mrs. George Smith, of York county; Albert, of Lancaster and Maud, at home. Forty-three grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held in the New Danville Mennonite church on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock, services at the home being private. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
