FINDLEY His Demise Caused by Consumption COLUMBIA, Nov. 26.-William S. Findley, a well-known resident of town, died this morning at 4:40 o’clock, after a lingering illness from pulmonary consumption. He had been sick for 27 months, but was only confined to his bed for one week. He was a native of Columbia, and was in his 40th year. He was a carpenter by trade and was employed with the P. R. R. for eleven years prior to his last sickness. A wife and eight children survive. He was a member of the Pennsylvania railroad relief department. At one time he was president of the Columbia fire company, and the engine house has been draped in his memory. The funeral will be held on Thursday, at 2 o’clock; services in the Methodist church.
