JACOB FRANK

Jacob Frank, one of the oldest residents of Providence township, died on 
Thursday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Samuel Martin, near New 
Providence.  He was nearly ninety years old and was born in Germany.  He came to 
this country as a young man and engaged in farming in the lower end at which he 
was quite successful.  He retired a few years ago.  At the age of eighty-four 
years he made a trip to the Fatherland.  He is survived by three sons Jacob, of 
Lancaster; Martin, of Providence, and John, of Pittsburgh, and two daughters, 
Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Pickle, both of Providence.  The funeral will take place on 
Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the New Providence Mennonite church.
