Lancaster Sunday News Sun Oct 21, 1973
David Eugene Gochnauer, 22, of Columbia R1, died Saturday morning at Lancaster
General Hospital following an illness of three weeks. Born in Columbia, he was
the son of John B. and Anna M. Bowers Gochnauer. A Manheim Central High School
graduate, he was employed by Hubbard Inc., Neffsville. In June of 1970,
Gochnauer suffered a fall, and community friends joined together to donate blood
to the young man. He was a member of the Landisville Mennonite Church and Sunday
School. He is survived by his parents at home, two brothers, John R., Manheim
R4, and Donald R., Mount Joy, a sister Anna Mary, at home, and a maternal
grandmother, Mrs. Anna Bowers, Mountville.
