GEORGE GEHR

George Gehr died at his home in Fetterville, yesterday morning at 12:26 o'clock, 
from pneumonia.  He was 79 years old.  Mr. Gehr had been sick for two weeks.  
His wife died about nine years ago.  The following daughters survive:  Annie E., 
wife of Harry M. Hoover, of Lancaster; Mary, wife of Elam Eshleman, of near 
Center Church; Sallie, wife of William Jacoby, of Lancaster, and Mrs. Rachael 
Carpenter.  Seven grand-children and three great grand children also survive.  
He was a member of the Center Lutheran church for 25 years.  The funeral will be 
held on Monday from his late home at 10 o'clock, with further services in Center 
Church at 1 o'clock.  Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
