A two-months'-old female child was found dead in bed this morning at ten o'clock, at the home of Christian Habaker. Mr. Habaker lives about three miles from Columbia, in Manor township. The child was accustomed to sleep late in the morning, and no surprise was occasioned by its prolonged slumbers, but at the time noted, when an attempt was made to awaken the child it was dead. Deputy Coroner Hershey was immediately notified, and t his morning left for the home of the Habaker's, where he will hold an inquest, and investigate the cause of the child's death.
