HENRY DEAD A FORMER COLUMBIAN EXPIRES AT EVERETT, BEDFORD COUNTY. Columbia Correspondence. Telegraph advices this morning note the sudden death of Mrs. W. P. S. Henry, at 3 o'clock this morning, at her late residence in Everett, Bedford county, Pa., in the 27th year of her age. The funeral will take place on Sunday at 1 P.M., at Everett. The news was a shock to the wide circle of friends of deceased. She was a daughter of Mr. John Fendrich, of this place, and was in her life in Columbia one of the most favorably known. As a young girl she was the life of her associates. As a more mature woman those who were admitted to her confidence and friendship were her devoted admirers. As a wife, she nobly fulfilled all the requirements of that higher life, and to know her was only to love and admire her. A husband and two lovely children survive. The figure of "gloom" pervading a community, so often only a figure, had a literal significance on receipt of the news of Mrs. Henry's death, and the hearts of our people beat quicker this morning in sympathy for the bereaved, as they recall the admirable qualities and loveliness of their former friend and associate thus suddenly stricken in death.
