Death of a Constable From "Grip."

  Constable Christian Herr, of the Eighth Ward, whose serious illness 
from "the grip" was noted in these columns on Wednesday, died shortly 
before three o'clock.
  Deceased, who was the father of John Herr, was greatly respected, and 
his sudden death will be greatly deplored.
