MRS. ELIZABETH M. HESS

Mrs. Elizabeth M. Hess, sixty-seven, widow of John Hess, died last night at 
eight o'clock at the home of her son, Adam Hess, 547 East Marion street, from 
heart failure.  Deceased was a member of St. Paul's Reformed church.

She is survived by the following children:  Able, of Baltimore; Mrs. E. W. 
Zercher and Mrs. John Gigle, both of Scranton; John M., of Philadelphia; Adam, 
with whom she resided; Harry M., Andrew M., and Warren, all of this city, and 
Chester M., of Columbia.  Two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Metzgar, of Strasburg, and 
Mrs. Emanuel Lehr, of Mountville, also survive.

The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the home of her son, 
Adam Hess, 547 East Marion street, at 2 o'clock.
