Lancaster, Pa., Aug. 22. - Martin Kreider, aged 74 years, on Saturday left his 
home in Lititz for a walk, taking his dog with him.  Yesterday Kreider's dead 
body was found in a cornfield, near Lititz, and the dog was standing guard over 
it, evidently having watched over his dead master since Saturday, when the man 
died suddenly of apoplexy.  Sunday boys saw what they thought was a man lying in 
the field, but the fury of the dog when they appeared, scared them away.
