Allison Kring died at his home here, aged 87 years, 8 months and 11 days. He was a farmer by occupation and resided the greater part of his life in Chester county. There survive these children: Mrs. Tobias Gerhart, this place; Mrs. Harry Overdorf, Spring City; Mrs. Daniel Halderman, Chester Springs, R.D.; Mrs. Frank Kochel, Embreeville; Mrs. Horace Entrican, Coatesville; Mrs. Horace Hughes, Spring City; William Kring, Chester Springs R.D.; Henry Kring, Spring City; Isaac Kring, Newark, N J; and Monroe Kring, Kimberton; also 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Allison was a son of Henry Kring/Gring and Elizabeth Kessler of near Bowmansville, Lancaster Co who are buried at Allegheny cemetery in Brecknock Twp. His wife was Barbara Bixler 2/28/1846-9/25/1902 buried next to him. He may have remarried an Anna who is also buried next to him with dates 1845- 1921, at Plow Cemetery, Robeson Twp., Berks Co in Sec A row 12. The dates on Allison's tombstone are 7/28/1841-4/8/1925.
