He was a son of George T. Kurl, of West Chester, and up to a few days ago was in good health. For about two years he lived in Kennett Square and two years ago he moved to Lancaster. Of late he had been working at Hog Island, and he took a heavy cold which developed into the malady which caused his death. Surviving him are a widow and four children. A brother, William Kurl, of Lancaster, formerly of West Grove, survives, and there are two married sisters. Ibid KURL- In Lancaster, on February 12, 1918, Franklin E. Kurl, aged 46 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from his late residence, 312 Dauphin Street, Lancaster, on Friday, February 15, 1918. Meet at the house at 2 o’clock.
