Funeral from the residence of her son-in-law, Samuel Hershey, East Lampeter township, on Wednesday, May 20, at 8 o’clock, a.m., and at Oregon, Manheim township, at the old homestead, at 2 o’clock p.m. Preaching at both places. Interment in the family burying ground at the old homestead. ---------------- Mrs. Anna Landis Mrs. Anna Landis, widow of Benj. L. Landis, died on Sunday evening at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel M. Hershey, on the Philadelphia pike, about seven miles from this city. The deceased was in her eighty-fifth year. About six weeks ago, while taking a walk, she was partially paralyzed by a fall and has steadily declined ever since. She leaves surviving her four sons and six daughters; one of the sons is Israel L. Landis, of this city. Lancaster Intelligencer, Monday, May 18, 1885
