Mrs. Catherine Maurer, widow of the late Samuel Maurer, died yesterday afternoon
at 4:30 o'clock, at her home, No. 307 South Prince street. She was 82 years old,
and was born, in Baden, Germany, but had been living in this city since 1881.
Her husband died 32 years ago. She was a member of St. John's church. The
surviving children are: Frederick Maurer, Mrs. Lena Jarrett and Bertha, wife Of
Adam Seitz. all of this city. The funeral will be held on Monday afternoon at 2
o'clock from her late home, with private interment in the Greenwood cemetery.
