Obituary: April 24, 1909- "The funeral of Samuel McNelly, who died on Monday 
from pneumonia, aged 58 years, was held at the residence of his nephew, Samuel 
Miller, Cains, Lancaster county, yesterday afternoon. Interment was made at 
Limeville. Deceased who was well known in this section, is survived by one 
son, John McNelly, who resides in Coatesville; two sisters, Mrs. John Miller, 
Sandy Hill, and Mrs. Elizabeth Martin, Gap; two brothers, James, of Altoona, 
and Harry who lives in Parkesburg."
