Moore, Oxford R2, Dies In His 83rd Yr. Harry E. Moore, eighty-three, Oxford R2, Little Britain Twp., died at Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital at 3 a.m. yesterday following an illness of three months. He was the husband of Rebecca Watson Moore. Born in Unicorn, he was a son of the late Joseph D. and Mary Alice Watson Moore. He was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, Union, and he was a stationary engineer who worked on steam engines. In later years, he was superintendent of maintenance of the Hotel Whitier in Philadelphia, until his retirement about 15 years ago. He was 32nd Degree Mason; a member of Solomon Lodge No. 114, F&AM, Philadelphia; and P.O.S. of A., Philadelphia. Surviving, besides his wife, at home; are a daughter, Clara B., wife of George Messer, Gardenville, Bucks County; and four sons: Carroll E., Glenolden; John J., Havertown; George R., Havertown; and Charles L., Lansdowne; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Edith Helm, Lancaster, and two brothers, Robert Moore, Newtown, and John G.
