MRS. MARTHA A. MOWERY

Mrs. Martha A. Mowery, seventy, widow of Phares Mowery, died yesterday at noon 
at the home of her son, John A. Mowery, of Providence Township, near New 
Providence.  Death was caused by a complication of diseases after a long 
illness.  She was a member of the Reformed church.

She is survived by two children, Bertha M., wife of Milton Myer, of Strasburg 
township; and John, with whom she resided; a brother, Frank McGuigan, of 
Rosemont; and two sisters, Mrs. Benjamin Peters, of Lancaster; and Mrs. William 
Guest, of New Jersey.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the late 
home and at 2:30 o’clock at Strasburg Presbyterian church.  Interment will be 
made in the adjoining cemetery.
