MRS. ROONEY DIES AT HOME OF SON

   Mrs. Margaret Rooney, widow of Joseph Rooney, died at 1:25 o'clock 
yesterday afternoon at the home of her son, Wesley A. Rooney, 24 North 
Charlotte street, from a complication of diseases due to her advanced age.  
She was ill eight weeks and was in her 90th year.  Deceased was born in 
Millersville February 14, 1834 a daughter of the late **Frederick and 
Elizabeth Cochran Erisman.
   She was a resident of Millersville until 1865 when she came to Lancaster 
with her husband and has resided here ever since.  Her husband died in 1906. 
Mrs. Rooney was a member of the First Reformed church.
   Her son Wesley A., at whose home she died and six grandchildren and nine 
great grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be held from her late home, 
Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with private interment in the Lancaster 
cemetery.
