Ruhl, aged 40 years, of 1322 Clinton avenue, Irvington, N.J., died on Saturday at the Lancaster General hospital. He was a graduate of Elizabethtown College and the University of Pennsylvania class of 1913. Following his graduation at the latter institution he was principal of the Maytown High schoo, (sic) and a teacher in Pittsburgh. For the past nine years he has been engaged in teaching in the Cleveland West Side and Barringer High schools of Newark, N.J. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Brooklyn, N.Y. He is survived by his wife, who before marriage was Florence Evans, of Lancaster; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hiram F. Ruhl, Manheim, and a sister, Mrs. Christian Gibbel, also of Manheim. Private funeral services will be held at the home of William L. EVans, 809 North Duke street, Tuesday at 2 o'clock followed by a public service at the Church of the Brethren, Charlotte street, at 2:30. Interment in the Cedar Lawn cemetery.
