John Ruof Dies from Grip.

  John Ruof, of No. 219 Locust street, died this morning of la grippe.  
He was taken sick last Tuesday.  He was in the 68th year of his age, 
and leaves a widow and four children, two sons and two daughters.  His 
two sons, Andrew and John, are both married, and live in Akron, Ohio.  
Kate, one of his daughters, is the wife of Chas. Nutto, of this city, 
and Annie, the youngest, lives at home.  He was a life-long member of 
St. Anthony's church, this city.  His funeral will take place Thursday 
morning at 8:30 o'clock, with services at St. Anthony's church.
