Death of Samuel A. Rupp

The death of Samuel A. Rupp, a retired miller, occurred at his home in West Earl 
township on Wednesday evening, December 26.  Deceased was 63 years of age.  He 
conducted one of the largest mills along the Conestoga creek.  Mr. Rupp is 
survived by his wife and the following children:  Lettie, wife of Alpheus Groff, 
of Talmage; Ida, wife of Samuel Hertzog, of Ephrata township; Ada, wife of John 
Dague, of Eden; Samuel, at home; Nellie, wife of Haydn Brubaker, of Durlach; 
Edna, wife of Martin Miller, of Earl township; J. Stuart, Simpson, Charles, 
Wesley, and Minnie, all at home.  The funeral was held on Sunday.  Interment at 
Metzler's meeting house cemetery.
