Mrs. Susanna Schweitzer.

Susanna, widow of Bananiah Schweitzer, died of dropsy and old age at 6:15 p.m. 
Thursday, at the residence of her daughter, Susan, wife of Michael Witwher, at 
Blue Ball, Lancaster county, aged 79 years, 11 months and 8 days.
   Deceased was born in Lancaster county, near Bowmansville, and was a 
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kring.  She resided for a time at 
Hummels Store, after which she again took up her residence near Bowmansville.  
She had been making her home with her daughter at Blue Ball since last July.  
Deceased was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Allegheny Church.  Her 
husband, who was a farmer, died 13 years ago.  Deceased leaves 10 children, as 
follows: Elizabeth, wife of John Kramer, near Alleghenyville, from which place 
the funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m.; Otis Schweitzer, near Plowville; 
Emory, Wyomissing; Nathaniel, Sinking Spring, R.D.1; Emeline, wife of Harvey 
Hoffert, R.D. 1; Susan, wife of Michael Witwher, with whom she last made her 
home;  Charles, Freemansville; Frank, Sinking Spring, R.D. 1; Harry, 
Bowmansville, and Theodore, Grill.  There also remain two brothers, Allison 
Kring, Elverson [Chester Co] and John, of near Bowmansville; a sister, Mrs. 
Elizabeth Oberholtzer, Bowmansville.  A number of grandchildren and great-
grandchildren remain.
