Mrs. Rachel Sheeley, an estimable resident of Lancaster, died on Sunday morning at her home, No. 426 West Lemon street. The cause of her death was congestion of the lungs. About two weeks ago Mrs. Sheely was attacked with la grippe and congestion of the lungs was developed. Deceased was the widow of John Sheeley, formerly of Coatesville, Chester county. Mrs. Sheeley was in the fifty-ninth year of her age. She was a consistent member of the Duke Street M. E. church. Four children survive, George S., traveling salesman for R. J. Houston; Ida, Bertha and Corinne, lately returned from Canton, Ohio. The funeral will take place on Wednesday. The body will be taken to Coatesville for burial. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from her late residence, No. 426 West Lemon street, on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment at Coatesville, Chester county. The Lancaster Daily Examiner, Tuesday, January 28, 1890 Funeral of Mrs. Sheeley. The body of Mrs. Rachel Sheeley, who died at her home on West Lemon street, was taken to Coatesville this afternoon for burial. Religious services were conducted at the house by Rev. S. M. Vernon, of the Duke street M. E. church, and the same minister also officiated in the chapel in the Coatesville cemetery. The pall-bearers, who accompanied the remains, were as follows: R. S.
