SHICK DIES FROM PARALYSIS Blue Mound Woman Expires Saturday. Blue Mound, Dec. 17. - Mrs. Salome Shick died between 12 and 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, after suffering a stroke of paralysis three weeks ago. Miss Salome Schultz was born in Lancaster county, Penn., Aug. 8, 1845, and in 1864 with her parents moved to near Grove City on a farm. In 1867 she married Aaron Shick in Taylorville and in 1881 they moved to Blue Mound. She leaves two children, Mrs. John Denny of Blue Mound, Lyman of Stonington. Dwight, another son, died in 1903 and Arthur died in infancy. Mr. Shick died in March, 1897. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Lucy Reemsnyder, one granddaughter, Mrs. Truman Gebhart of near Stonington, one great grandchild, the son of Mrs. Gebhart, three newphews, James and Lee Reemsnyder of Decatur and C. H. Reemsnyder of Blue Mound, and one niece, Mrs. William Rogers of Missouri. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 in the Christian church. Burial will take place in Buckhart cemetery.
