On Tuesday, March 13th, Mr. Henry Shubert of Lancaster, and a brother of our townsman, Jacob Shubert, died at his residence in that city. He had been unwell for some time, being afflicted with Asthma, besides he had some heart troubles. Mr. Shubert was an auctioneer of more than ordinary ability, and a person well known by a large circle of admiring friends. He was also a prominent member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and a trustee of the Landisville camp meeting association. He leaves a wife and two daughters (both married) and two sons to mourn his loss. At the time of his death he was in the 67th year of his age. On the 16th his remains were interred in the Lancaster cemetery, where he will rest of his labors until the morning of the general resurrection. Peace to his ashes. Martinsburg Herald, March 22, 1888
