Slack, 77, Justice of the Peace of Leacock township, died at his home in Intercourse on Friday afternoon at 2:30 after an illness of six months of a complication of diseases. He served as Justice of the Peace for 37 years. He was a member of the Intercourse United Brethren church and acted as treasurer of the church for the past 30 years. He was also a member of the Masonic Fraternity for 53 years. These children survive: Joseph B., Irwin, Pa.; Charles M., Coatesville; Elizabeth, wife of Edward C. Miller, Gordonville, and Harry B., Jr., at home. Services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home, with public services at 2 o'clock in the United Brethren church, at Intercourse.
