MRS. ARTHUR SMITH

Mrs. Arthur Smith, 20 years old, of Arlingtonville, near Ephrata, died at 10 
o'clock Monday night in St. Joseph's hospital from heart failure.  Besides her 
husband an infant daughter, Beatrice survives.  She was formerly Verna Hibshman, 
and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dallis Hibachman, near Ephrata, and the following 
brothers and sisters also survive:  Mrs. Emory Shenk, Akron; Mrs. NOrman 
Eshleman, Leacock; Paul, Brownstown; Mrs. Clarence Leisey, Akron; Landis 
Hibschman, Akron; Mrs. Elwood Rutter, Brownstown, and Ruth and Ivan at home.  
Private funeral services will be held from the home of Amos Smith, 
Arlingtonville, near Ephrata, at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, with public 
services in the Akron Lutheran church at 2:30 o'clock.  Interment will be in the 
adjoining cemetery.
