The many friends and acquaintances of Isaac O. Sollenberger will be shocked to learn of his sudden death, which occurred on Thursday morning at his home, in Upper Leacock township. He was born November 6, 1838, in East Earl township, where he grew up and spent the greater portion of his life. March 3, 1865, he enlisted at Lancaster with Captain W. D. Stauffer, Company H., One Hundred and Ninety-fifth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, and was honorably discharged January 31, 1866. He was married to Miss Sarah E. Goheen, and lived for many years in the vicinity of Blue Ball, but for a number of years had resided at Mechanicsburg, Upper Leacock township, where he died, having attained the age of seventy two years, two months and twenty-seven days.
