The Ephrata Review  Sept. 23, 1937

Mrs. Margaret Spayd (nee Antes) wife of Elmer Spayd, of near Brunnerville, 
died last Friday at 11:30 p.m., aged 29 years, 11 months and 10 days. She was 
a member of the Brickerville Lutheran church.
     Besides her husband, her foster parents, John and Margaret Teeter, of 
Tawnetown, MD.,and these brothers and sisters survive: Willian Antes, 
Conshohocken; John Manheim; Paul, Grandville, PA.; Mrs. George Fisher, 
Schuylkill Haven; Florence, wife of Frank Niece, Berkshire Heights and Robert, 
of Shillington. The last two formerly resided in Ephrata.
     The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon with services at the home and in 
Emanuel Lutheran church, Brickerville. Interment was made in the cemetery 
adjoining. Rev George B. Ammon and Rev, F.A. Weicksel officiated and Funeral 
Director H.M. Mellinger had charge.
