Lancaster daily intelligencer. (Lancaster, Pa.) 1864-1928: October 29, 1880
James Wilhelm, who has been afflicted with dropsy and has for some time been at the
Lancaster hospital for treatment, ate a hearty breakfast this morning and in walking
away from the table dropped over dead, life being extinct when he was picked up by
those who saw him fall. He was about 45 years of age, a widower, and was born and
had always lived in this city. He was a carpenter by trade.The coroner held an
inquest on the body and the jury rendered a verdict of death from heart disease.
