John Watson, a farmer residing near Unicorn, died of infirmities incident to advanced age, Wednesday forenoon, aged eighty-three years [b1822]. Besides his wife the following children survive: William and James, at home; Edward J., of Mechanic Grove; Henry of Lancaster; Mrs. Emma Eshleman, of Liberty Square; Mrs. Nettie Bailey, of Lancaster, and Mrs. Alice Roop, of Andrews Bridge. The funeral will be held at Drumore Baptist church, of which he was a member, at twelve o’clock Saturday. Internment will be made in Quarryville cemetery. Quarryville Sun, Friday, July 28, 1905
