The Ephrata Review  Sept. 23, 1937

Mrs. Anna K. Weidman, wife of Albert C. Weidman, of Hopeland, died last Friday 
at 11:30 a.m., of acute indigestion, aged 45 years, 5 months and 13 days. She 
was a member of the United Brethren church of Hopeland.
    Survivors are one daughter, Elizabeth Garden, of Reading; one grandson, 
her parents, Martin and Lizzie Mentzer, of Ephrata and two brothers, Peter 
Mentzer, Ephrata and Edwin Mentzer, of Myerstown.
    Funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the home and in the Hopeland U.B. 
church. Interment was made in the Brickerville cemetery, Rev. G. Jay Umberger 
officiated and Funeral Director H. M. Mellinger had charge.
