All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/lancaster/ _______________________________________________ Morning Republican, November 2, 1898 Caleb Weir A telegram was received in Malvern yesterday morning by Edward Weir, of Malvern, stating that his brother, Caleb Weir, who had been the blacksmith at White Horse, Willistown, died suddenly at the home of his daughter near Christiana. Mr. Weir had gone to Christiana yesterday to go gunning with his son-in-law, Mr. Stewart, who lives about six miles west of that place, and it was not known what was the cause of his death, though friends feared that he might have bee shot. He leaves a wife and a son and daughter at home. Mr. Weir was about 48 years of age.
