He was a son of Wm. C. and Phoebe H. Romans Worth, deceased, and died in the house in which he was born. He was educated in Union High school, of which he was afterwards a director, and followed the avocation of farming. Mr. Worth was in politics a staunch Republican and was twice elected to the office of County Commissioner of this county. He was married to Miss Letitia M.
