A very quiet and beautiful wedding took place at high noon today at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. B. Hershey, on West Orange street, in the presence of a circle of relatives only. Rev. C. Elvin Haupt officiated. The high contracting parties were Mr. Sanford S. Jacobs, of Philadelphia, and Ada B. Hershey, who was assisted in the ceremony by Miss Minnie C. McKeown. The relatives present were Mr. Edward Jacobs, of Philadelphia, father of the groom, and Mr. and Mrs. B. Hershey, parents of the bride; also, Mr. and Mrs. G. Goodman and Mrs. Jacob Esbenshade, of Philadelphia; Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Kennedy, of Trenton, N.J., Mrs. Adam Barr, Mr. And Mrs. Guiessinger, Miss Minnie Guiessinger, Mrs. Miller, Miss Bessie King, and Mr. M. B. Hartman, all of Lancaster. The groom is a grocer in the city of Philadelphia, originally from Lancaster county.
