Earl Long, of Locust street, became the bride of John Lloyd Sheaffer, of Lititz, Pa., on Saturday afternoon when they were married in the presence of a company of relatives and friends. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white velvet. Her maid of honor was Miss Sara Robeson, of town, who wore royal blue velvet. John J. Sheaffer, of Philadelphia, cousin of the groom, was best man. The wedding music was played by Miss Mary King, of town, and the soloist, Miss Peggy McFeeley, of town, sang two numbers. Following the ceremony a reception and wedding supper was served at Rustic Lodge. After a tour of the southern states they will establish their home in Lititz. Indiana Progress, October 13, 1937
